The Currency Conference was established in 1992 to offer a unique and secure forum for Central Bankers, Bank Note Printers and related Industry Suppliers to discuss new technologies and relevant issues impacting the banking industry. It is considered to be the premier industry conference for Central Bankers around the globe.
The 2009 International Commercial Cash Operations Seminar (ICCOS) held at the Drake Hotel in Chicago at the end of March 2009 was a great success attracting 226 delegates from 21 countries. The expansion from a seminar principally targeted at the large cash vaults to what is now seen as the premier global conference for commercial cash distribution and circulation, has been a targeted objective as we have increased presentations across every facet of the cash cycle: retailers, casinos, armored carriers/CITs, banks, cash processors and federal authorities - each with a critical part to play in the currency cycle. On September 20-22 the first ICCOS EMEA conference will be held at the Hilton in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This conference is a new addition to the highly successful ICCOS conference which has been held in the United States since 1997. The ICCOS conferences are seen as a unique educational forum for commercial cash distribution and circulation and targets everyone with a role in the cash cycle; retailers, casinos, armored carriers/CIT's, cash processors, banks and federal authorities.
