Barry Noble

Barry served in various senior positions in the Currency & Banking Department of the Reserve Bank of Australia for over 34 years and worked through the changes experienced in that organization as they re-organized their policy towards cash processing.

• In his capacity as Senior Manager (Currency) Barry was responsible for the issue, distribution and processing of Australia’s currency notes, and was involved in many supplier bids and selections.
• His career spanned the introduction of polymer notes, the upgrading of software and hardware through the 22 currency processing system installation and the closing of the regional note processing centres.

• Barry’s core strengths are in Cash Processing and the optimization of Cash Centre activities.
